Try this counting rhyme, which can be adapted to just about anything!:

 

     Five little eggplants, sitting in a bowl. (Hold up 5 fingers) 
     One fell out and started to roll. (Roll your hands) 
     It bounced on the table (Slap your knees)
     And hit my feet - how many eggplants are left to eat? 
     (Repeat until all the eggplants are gone)
